Executive Director Transition Announcements

Melanie Jarboe and Matt Trivella

April 16, 2025 Update

Ted Ford Webb, the search consultant the board has engaged for the executive director search, met with staff today to gather input from staff. The session was not recorded. Key points from the process so far:

How staff are part of the process

  • Staff members are serving on the hiring committee
  • survey seeking staff input has been open since March 26 and is still a place you can provide anonymous input – here’s the survey link
  • When final candidates are selected there will be opportunities to meet them and share input

How to stay up to date

  • Updates will be shared via email and meetings like the Lunch and Learn
    • The job description will be shared soon (when it is complete)
  • If you miss an update, check this page in the Staff Portal.

If you have questions or comments

The search committee co-chairs and Ted have all welcomed staff to email them directly. Here is their contact info:

Key Information to Share with Others

  • Pam has decided to retire at the end of September 2025. She will continue to direct the organization until that time.
  • Pam’s tenure has been characterized by growth and expansion, and we are in a strong position to welcome her successor. Pam is only the 3rd Executive Director in our 50-year history.
  • We anticipate a smooth transition, led by our talented and committed Board of Directors.
  • A hiring committee has been meeting, led by Board Treasurer Matt Trivella and Board Clerk Melanie Jarboe
  • Executive Search firm Ford Webb Associates will be facilitating the search process.
  • The Board is committed to a transparent process with ample opportunities for staff input.
  • Our community will be kept informed of developments as the transition proceeds.
  • The Federation is here for families, and will continue to be here for families.
