Volunteering Details
As mentioned in the video, the Gala is an optional, voluntary, unpaid opportunity for staff members (except the small number who are required to work that night as part of their job description). We hope that staff volunteers will find it to be a fun, free night out with your +1 guest. Volunteer needs will include:
- Afternoon of the event: Help with set-up
- During event: greet and check guests in, run games, provide assistance during auction, help take auction down, help with guest check-out, help with clean-up
- After event closes: Pack up event materials, load cars to bring them back to FCSN (on your next day in the office)
Volunteers will receive 2 free tickets to the event (for yourself +1). We will schedule everyone in shifts so that you will have time to enjoy the event, yourself. An orientation will be provided closer to the event.
